Eight shepherds shot dead in Raqqa countryside

Armed men have committed massacre in Raqqa countryside, local media reported on Saturday (April 4).
Assad militiamen shot dead eight shepherds in the Syrian desert near Maadan town in Raqqa countryside, Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently reported.
The victims were shot dead by suspected Iranian regime’s militiamen that support Assad militias, according to Euphrates Post.
The area controlled by Assad, Iranian and Iranian backed militias.
In January, Iranian militias slaughtered 21 shepherds in the Syrian desert near Maadan town in Raqqa countryside.
Also, in January, suspected Iranian regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) shot dead seven shepherds in the Syrian desert near Ayash Badia in Aleppo countryside after they were kidnapped from Abeisan village and six shepherds in the Syrian desert near Mekhlef Badia in Deir ez-Zoor countryside.
Activists and local media said the three massacres are in retaliation for the death of the head of the Quds Force militia Qassem Soleimani.
The United States killed Iranian Major-General Qassem Soleimani, architect of Iranian regime’s spreading military influence in the Middle East, in an air strike on Friday (January 3) at Baghdad airport.
