Opposition fighters liberate Idlib’s Saraqib

Allied opposition fighters liberated on Thursday (February 27) a strategic city in Idlib countryside and cut the M4 and M5 highways, killing, injuring Assad militiamen, Orient correspondent said. 

Saraqib city which is located in Idlib southeastern countryside was liberated in an attack launched by opposition fighters supported by Turkish artillery shells.

By liberating Saraqib opposition fighters could cut the M4 and M5 highways.

Meanwhile, Opposition fighters in the National Front for Liberation (NFL) killed and injured dozens of Assad militiamen and captured two tanks and a BMP vehicle.

NFL posted on Wednesday a video showing mass escape of Assad militiamen in Idlib countryside.

On Monday, opposition fighters launched al-Nairab village.

Russian warplanes continue their scorched earth policy against civilians and civilians, according to Orient correspondent.

On Tuesday, Assad warplanes intensified bombardment on Idlib province, killing 22 civilians, including three teachers, nine children and seven women and injuring 90 others, including 39 children and women.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey.
