Russian-Assad bombing kills civilians in Aleppo, Idlib countryside
Russian warplanes and Assad regime are bombing cities and towns in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient News correspondents said.

A civilian was killed and five others, including a child were injured on Sunday (February 23) after Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes in Darat Izza town.

In Idlib countryside, Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes in Abdita village, killing a civilian and causing substantial material damage.

Meanwhile, Russian warplanes and Assad artillery shells bombed several villages and towns, including Kansafra, al-Bara and Balyun, injuring nine civilians.

The warplanes also partially destroyed a school and a mosque in Kansafra village.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights SNHR documented in its report released on (January 1) 43 massacres committed by Assad regime's militias and 22 massacres committed by Russian forces in 2019.

The report documented the deaths of 3,364 civilians in 2019, including 842 children and 486 women at the hands of the perpetrator parties to the conflict in Syria, including 234 in December.
