Two civilians have been shot dead and others were injured in Deir ez-Zoor countryside as Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militiamen clamped down on a peaceful demonstration, local media reported.
Peaceful demonstrators took to the streets on Sunday (January 12) in al-Kibr village in Deir ez-Zoor countryside, protesting corruption in SDF controlled areas, Euphrates Post reported.
SDF militia arrested also the imam of the village mosque.
SDF militias control several villages and towns in Deir ez-Zoor countryside where civilians face miserable conditions.
