Heavy clashes erupted on Wednesday (Nov 13) between Assad militiamen and Hay'et Tahrir al-Sham militants in Latakia countryside, Orient News correspondent said.

The group's media outlet, Ibaa, said the heaviest clashes took place in al-Kabaniya as Assad militiamen tried to storm the front after heavy preliminary shelling.

The group also said that its militants inflicted heavy losses on Assad regime's Fourth Division fighters and Hezbollah terrorists.

A new attempt to storm al-Kobaniya is being prepared amid heavy Russian airstrikes on the Hay'et Tahrir al-Sham positions.

Idlib and Latakia northern countryside are controlled by opposition fighters and Hay'et Tahrir al-Sham with a population swollen by displacing Syrians from other parts of the country by Assad terrorists and their allies.
