Trump to probably release second Ukraine transcript on Tuesday

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday (November 9) that the White House would probably release a transcript of a second call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Tuesday.

"We have another transcript coming out which is very important," Trump told reporters at Joint Base Andrews before leaving for a visit to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. "I will give you a second transcript, because I had two calls with the president of Ukraine."

Trump said the second transcript would probably be released on Tuesday (November 12).

"What I said is very simple - There shouldn't be anything, there shouldn't be impeachment hearings, is what I said. So, maybe they misconstrued it. But, what I say is, read the transcript. It's all about the transcript. They are having people, I never even heard of some of these people. I don't know who they are. And by the way, it's all third-hand knowledge. But regardless of what anyone says, read the transcript. Now, they want to have a transcript of the other call, the second call and I'm willing to provide that."
