Three killed as Russian warplanes bomb Idlib’s Kafranbel despite claimed ceasefire
Russian warplanes bombed the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside on Monday (October 28), killing and injuring civilians, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondent said.  

Russian warplanes targeted on Monday civilian homes in Kafranbel town, killing three men and injuring four others.

Meanwhile, Russian warplanes and Assad artillery shells and rockets also targeted several villages and towns in Idlib countryside with dozens of airstrikes and shells, causing material damage.

On Sunday, Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes and a secondary school in al-Janudiyah town, killing a displaced boy and injuring a woman.

On Friday, Assad artillery shells targeted Bidama town, killing three women and injuring four children.

On Thursday, six civilians were killed and16 others were injured as Assad artillery shells targeted a market in the village of Janodiya in the western countryside of Idlib.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
