Assad helicopters drop barrel bombs on Latakia countryside
Orient Net اورينت نت
The Assad regime’s militias resumed on Tuesday (September 24) their bombing campaign on Latakia countryside, violating a ceasefire announced by Russia on the 31st of August, Orient correspondents said.
For the second day in a row, Assad helicopters dropped on Tuesday morning barrel bombs on the Kabina Hill in the Akrad Mountain in Latakia northern countryside.
In May, Assad militiamen used the chlorine gas shells in the Kabina Hill after they failed to make any progress on the front.
Assad militias based in al-Turkmen Mountain and the al-Akrad Mountain in Latakia countryside continue to target opposition-controlled areas with heavy artillery and rocket fire.
