Landmine targets Free Syrian Police in Aleppo countryside
An explosion ripped through Aleppo countryside on Tuesday (August 27), killing and injuring several persons, White Helmets reported.

A landmine targeted a minibus, carrying members of the Free Syrian Police (FSP) and teachers while it passed on Azaz – Kaljibrin road in Aleppo northern countryside, killing two persons and injuring nine others.

The death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical condition.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blasts.

Earlier this month, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) exploded near Orem al-Kubra town and Qabasin town in Aleppo countryside, injuring seven civilians.

Several explosions have blasted the densely populated opposition-held areas in northern Syria, including areas controlled by the Turkey-backed opposition factions.
