Civilian killed as Assad militias shell Aleppo countryside’s al-Bawabiya

Assad militias shelled on Friday (August 23) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Aleppo countryside, killing a civilian and causing material damage, Orient correspondent said.

Assad regime’s artillery fire targeted on Friday morning al-Bawabiya village, killing Abdulhamid al-Thiab.

Meanwhile, Assad airstrikes were reported in the International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) on the high way between Idlib and Aleppo.

Aleppo countryside, Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zone reached by Russia and Turkey last September.
