In 24 hours, 19 civilians killed by Assad jets in Idlib countryside

Two civilians have been killed in the village of Hamidiya to the south of Maaret al-Numan and in the town of Haas, local sources in Idlib say.

At least 17 civilians were killed on Saturday (August 17) in Idlib southern countryside as Assad regime’s warplanes targeted towns and villages in the province, Orient News correspondent said.

“Seven civilians were killed in Deir Sharqi, 2 in Kafranbel, 2 in Maaret al-Numan, 4 in Khan Sheikhoun, 1 in Hazarin and 1 in Maaret Hurma,” Jameel al-Hasen said.

After killing these 17 civilians, the Assad warplanes attacked Heish, Bseida, Sheikh Damas and Deir Sharqi, the Macro Media Centre, a famous Idlib media centre posted on Facebook.

Dozens of massacres have been committed by Assad militias backed by the Russian warplanes against civilians in Idlib province since April 30th.

Assad terrorists have killed hundreds of thousands of civilians in Idlib since the Syrian people took to the streets to topple Assad regime in 2011.
