Three civilians killed as Russian warplanes bomb Idlib’s Khan Sheikhoun
Assad-Russian warplanes targeted on Tuesday (August 13) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in Idlib countryside, killing civilians, Orient correspondent said.

The Russian warplanes targeted on Tuesday morning civilian homes in Khan Sheikhoun town, killing three civilians, including a woman.

Meanwhile, the warplanes bombed several villages and towns, including al-Tamanah, causing material damage.

Yesterday, the warplanes targeted several villages and towns in Idlib and Hama countryside, killing a civilian and injuring 15 others.

Assad Russian warplanes and Assad helicopters have killed more than 120 civilians in Khan Sheikhoun town since February 2019.

More than 95% of the civilians have left Khan Sheikhoun town towards nearby opposition held areas in northern Syria and towards the towns and camps near the Syrian-Turkish borders.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) said that nearly 670,000 Syrian citizens were subjected to forced displacement in 2018, including 134,000 who were forcibly displaced as a result of agreements and truces which contravene international humanitarian law.
