After pause, Assad helicopters resume killing in Hama countryside

The Assad regime militias resumed on Monday (August 5) their bombing campaign on towns and villages in Idlib and Hama countryside, killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondents said.

Assad helicopters targeted on Monday afternoon civilian homes in Morek town, killing four civilians and injuring another.

Meanwhile, the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on several towns and villages in Idlib and Hama countryside.

Assad militia said on Monday it was resuming military operations in a Russian-led campaign in northwest Syria that has uprooted tens of thousands and killed hundreds.

On Sunday, Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted several villages and towns in Idlib and Hama countryside, killing a woman and injuring 12 civilians.

Assad-Russian warplanes have committed dozens of massacres in Idlib and Hama countryside since they launched their bombing campaign on the 30th of April, largely violating the de-escalation zone deal reached between Russia and Turkey last September.
