Hay'et Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) repelled an incursion attempt by Assad militias in Latakia countryside on Tuesday (July 30), causing losses to the latter, HTS’ Ibaa agency said.

Earlier this month, The National Front for Liberation (NFL) fighters attacked Assad militiamen in Abo Assaad hill in al-Akrad Mountain in Latakia countryside, killing several Assad militiamen, including a lieutenant and injuring others.
Assad militias based in al-Turkmen Mountain and the al-Akrad Mountain in Latakia countryside continue to target opposition-controlled areas with heavy artillery and rocket fire.
