Hezbollah says US seeking to talk
Hezbollah militia's leader said on Friday (July 12) that Washington was seeking to open channels to the Iran-backed movement despite ramping up sanctions against its officials.

"(US President) Trump's administration is seeking to open channels of communication to Hezbollah in Lebanon through mediators...These are the American pragmatists," Nasrallah said in an interview with Hezbollah's al-Manar TV without elaborating.

Nasrallah said Hezbollah has also cut down its terrorists in Syria.

The heavily armed Lebanese Shi'ite terrorist group has played a vital role in the war next door, helping  Bashar Assad terrorists reclaim much of the country.
