Assad warplanes kill civilians, ambulance team in Idlib countryside (photos)
Assad warplanes conducted heavy airstrikes on Thursday (July 20) on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians and causing material damage, Orient correspondents said.

Assad warplanes targeted on Thursday morning al-Mastumah village in Idlib countryside, killing at least six civilians, including four children and a woman and injuring others.

Assad warplanes also targeted an ambulance car in Ma'arat al-Nu'man city in Idlib countryside, killing three Violet team volunteers (Saer Bahloul, Mahmoud Mustafa, and Abdul Kader Nahtan) and a woman and injuring three others.

Meanwhile, Assad warplanes targeted Hish town, killing at least five civilians and injuring others.

Yesterday, Assad and Russian warplanes targeted Idlib and Hama countryside, killing 20 civilians, including three children and injuring 38 others.

Locals say that at least 500.000 people have been displaced by the Assad regime and Russian attacks, while the United Nations puts the number at 200.000.

Idlib, Hama countryside and Aleppo countryside are within the de-escalation zone deal reached by Russia and Turkey last September, it was largely violated but renewed on the twelfth of June 2019.
