Blast rips through Dier ez-Zoor
A blast took place on Wednesday (Jure 12) in  Abu Hardoob in the east of Deir ez-Zoor, killing and injuring people, local sources reported. 

At least five 2 PKK-affiliated YPG's members were killed and 12 others were injured in the blast which took place the town of Abu Hardoob,  according to Deir ez-Zoor 24 Page.

Two weeks earlier, the YPG's military leader "Al-Jarrah" was killed by an improvised explosive device (IED) in the town of al-Sibai to the east of the city of Markada in Hasaka. 

ISIS was defeated at its final shred of territory of Baghouz in Syria, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Saturday (March 23), announcing the end of its self-declared “caliphate” that once spanned a third of Iraq and Syria.

The SDF declared the “total elimination of (the) so-called caliphate”, Mustafa Bali, head of the SDF media office tweeted.
