Russian jet hit by air defence fire in Hama countryside
A Russian Sukhoi SU-22 warplane was hit by Syrian opposition air defecne fires in Hama northern countryside on Friday (June 7), Orient News correspondent said. 

Eye witnesses confirmed that the warplane made a forced landing in Hama Military Airbase after it was hit.

The allied opposition groups military chamber said that an anti-aircraft missile was used to repel the attacking fighter.

Earlier on Thursday, opposition fighters said they captured the towns of Tel Melleh and Kafr Hud after the Assad militiamen fled their positions and fortifications.

Opposition fighters launched on Thursday (June 6) a major offensive on the regime militias to halt any progress could be made in Idlib southern countryside. The offensive was named "Defeating the Enemy".
