Russian warplanes conducted airstrikes in the last hours of Saturday (May 25), burning farmlands in the city of Khan Sheikhoun, White Helmets volunteers said.
“Oh my God! What is this!? All farmlands are burning,” eye witnesses said in the pictures posted by the rescue group.
On Saturday no casualties were reported in Khan Sheikhoun, but the bombing campaign launched by Assad terrorists and Russian warplanes did not halt.
Burning farmlands in this brutal way is heartbreaking but it shows the predicament facing Russians and Assad militiamen and the losses they suffer in Hama countryside.
At least two people were killed by the Assad airstrikes in Idlib countryside which is located in the de-escalation zone established between Russia and Turkey last September.
