Opposition fighters launch counteroffensive on Assad positions in Hama countryside’s Kafrnaboda
The Syrian opposition’s National Front for Liberation and the anti-regime Hayet Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) have launched separate counteroffensives on the Assad militiamen’s positions in Hama northern countryside, Orient News correspondent said.

Before the sunset, the fighting groups said they started the offensive with preliminary shelling on the town of kafrnaboda, using missiles and mortar bombs.

Activists posted photos of what they said scenes of fierce clashes taking place in the heart of the strategic town.

The Hamayrat, Tel Haywash and Sheikh Idris have been captured and the Assad militiamen have run away in flight as the opposition fighters sent  a car bomb.

It is worthy to remind that the opposition fighters rejected a ceasefire truce offered by Russian, conditioning that the opposition have to withdraw from the two towns of Kafr Naboda and Qalaat al-Madiq which they (Assad militiamen) occupied earlier this month.

Hama northern countryside, Idlib and Aleppo countryside are within the de-escalation zone reached by Russian and Turkey last September.
