An explosion took place on Thursday (May 16) in one of PKK-affiliated YPG's security centres in Manbij city to the east Aleppo, local sources told Orient News.
At least five YPG militiamen were killed and others were injured in the blast. The blast also caused extensive material damage.
YPG militia is chasing young people in their areas with the aim of "forced recruitment" to fight in its ranks.
The YPG-held areas have been witnessing protests against the militia's practices against the Arab residents who have demanded to be treated as Syrian citizens.
