Idlib's Maaret al-Nu'aman targeted by Assad militias minutes before tenth Ramadan Iftar

Assad-Russian warplanes targeted a civilian neighbourhood in the city of Maaret al-Nu'man in Idlib countryside on Wednesday (May 15), corresponding to the the tenth day of the holy month of Ramadan, Orient News correspondent said.

At least one civilian was killed and many other civilians were injured when a building in the city was significantly damaged, according to pictures posted by the White Helmets volunteers.

Similar missile attacks were reported in the city of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib countryside without casualties mentioned, according to the Idlib Media Centre. 

The Damascus-Aleppo highway was shelled near the International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA).

Meanwhile, a child was injured by a regime airstrike in the city of Heish in Idlib southern countryside.

Idlib is the largest area controlled by opposition fighters and anti-regime factions with a population swollen by Syrians who were displaced by the regime and its allies' advances in other parts of the country.
