Assad paramilitary leader rams car over policeman in Hama
An Assad paramilitary (Shabiha) leader rammed his car over a policeman on Tuesday (April 23) in Hama city, Orient News correspondent said.

The policeman was killed and another policeman was injured near the Nawa'ir petrol station in the heart of the city.

Traffic policemen regulate cars queues at petrol stations and public places in the Assad regime's controlled areas.

The cars queue reached more than 400 cars, the Shabiha leader tried to bypass the role to fill his car with gasoline but the policeman tried to stop him.

The Shabiha leader angrily drove over the two-policemen patrol, killing one and injuring the other, an anonymous source from Hama National Hospital told Orient News correspondent.

Gasoline crisis

The traffic in the Assad regime areas has significantly gone down amid sharp shortages in fuel derivatives following the sanctions imposed by the US on the Iranian regime.
