Civilian causalities as Assad regime shells Syria’s DMZ
Assad regime militias targeted on Wednesday (April 3) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Aleppo, Idlib  and Hama countryside, Killing and injuring civilians, Orient correspondent reported.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted Khan al-Asal city in Aleppo countryside, killing a woman and two girls and causing substantial material damage Orient correspondent added.

During the last two days, Assad militias have shelled Aleppo countryside with more than 200 artillery shells and rockets, killing four civilians and injuring 20.

In Hama countryside, Assad artillery shells targeted civilian homes in Hawweeja village, killing an old man and a girl and injuring several other civilians.

In Idlib countryside, Assad warplanes, artillery shells and rockets targeted several cities, towns and villages, including Maar Shamarin and Maarrat al-Numan city, killing a boy and injuring six civilians, including two women. 

Aleppo, Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zones reached on Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
