Rainwater has flooded several villages and towns in Hasaka countryside, local social media and activists reported.

Hasaka countryside witnessed on Saturday (March 30) a rain storm which damaged dozens of houses, especially in the villages and towns of Tell Hamis, Yarmouk, Jazaa and al-Jawadiyah.

Torrential rain and floods swept some of the cars, and displaced residents after their homes were severely damaged.

The inhabitants appealed to humanitarian organizations, NGOs, and INGOs to help them find solutions.
