“Despite the oppression, injustice and  Russian support to the Assad regime we will continue our revolution till Assad regime’s fall and surrendering Bashar Assad to a fair court,” an IDP from eastern Ghouta told Orient.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets yesterday in north of Syria on the 8th anniversary of the Syrian revolution.

Similar demonstrations took place in more than 30 cities, villages and towns in Idlib and Aleppo countryside.

The demonstrators asked the international community to force Assad regime to release the detainees.

Idlib is the largest part of Syria controlled by opposition with a population swollen by Syrians who were displaced by the Assad regime and its allies’ advances in other parts of the country.
