Civilian casualties as Assad militias shell Hama, Idlib countryside

Assad militiamen shelled on Monday (March 4) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Hama and Idlib countryside, injuring civilians and causing material damage, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Monday civilian homes in al-Zaka village and Morek town in Hama countryside, injuring two civilians and causing substantial material damage.

Meanwhile, Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted several villages and towns in Hama countryside, including Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah, causing substantial material damage.

Assad artillery shells and rockets also targeted civilian homes in Maarrat al-Numan city in Idlib countryside, injuring two women and causing substantial material damage.

Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zones reached on Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
