Assad militiamen shelled on Wednesday (Feb. 27) the demilitarized zone (DMZ) of Hama and Idlib countryside, killing and injuring civilians and causing material damage, Orient correspondent said.

Assad artillery shells and rockets targeted on Monday civilian homes in several villages and towns in Idlib countryside, including Khan Sheikhoun, al-Tah, and Jarjnaz, killing a civilian, and injuring five other civilians.

Assad artillery shells and rockets also targeted on Wednesday civilian homes in several villages and towns in Hama countryside, including Kafr Zita and al-Lataminah, causing substantial material damage, Orient correspondent added.

Idlib and Hama countryside are within the de-escalation zones reached in Syria by the three guarantor states; Russia, Turkey and the Iranian regime.
