Israel fires missiles in Quneitra
Israel bombarded the southern province of Quneitra on Monday (Feb. 11), Killing Iranian militiamen and causing material damage, special sources told Orient.

Israeli troops fired several shells on an Iranian military base in Quneitra countryside, killing at least two Iranian militiamen, the special sources added.

Israeli troops fired several shells on Quneitra's abandoned hospital and a nearby observation post, Orient correspondent said.

An Israeli drone fired four missiles near a demolished hospital and an Assad militia observation post in Syria's southern Quneitra province near the border with Israel, but there had been only material damage, Assad regime's News agency SANA said.

Israeli military spokeswoman declined comment about the reported Quneitra strikes.

Residents familiar with the area said that the sites targeted fall within the strategic area known as the "Triangle of Death" connecting the southern Damascus countryside with Daraa and Quneitra provinces.

Israel has mounted attacks against Assad regime as part of its effort to counter the influence carved out there by Iranian regime, which has supported Bashar Assad in his war against Syrian people.
