A young man died on Tuesday (Nov. 20) in the al-Rukban camp on the Syrian-Jordanian border due to the lack of health care, local social media reported.
Tamer Oubaid, 31, died after his health deteriorated due to the lack of doctors and medical equipment in the camp.
Tamer had been suffering from Mediterranean fever and doctors at the local medical point had insisted he should be evacuated to Jordan on Monday but he was denied entry.
Earlier this month, a young man died because he was not allowed to be transferred to the hospital in Jordan to receive medical treatment.
A newborn baby also died immediately after his birth because his mother was not allowed to be transferred to Jordan to give birth although she needed caesarean section delivery.
Last month, four infants died after his health deteriorated due to the lack of baby formula and the lack of doctors and medical supplies in the camp.
The internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the camp appealed to Jordan and the international community for help, saying they are living in dire conditions.
