Assad militiamen killed in Syria’s Daraa

Three Assad militiamen were killed on Friday (Sept 28) near Al-Harra town in Daraa countryside, pro-regime websites reported.

Captain Miqdad Mohammad Shaaban, an Intelligence officer, and two of his companions were shot dead in their car by unknown persons. 

Following the incident, Assad militia launched an inspection and an arrest campaign in Al-Harra town.

Miqdad is originally from Jableh city in Lattakia governorate.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Earlier this week, two Assad militiamen were stabbed to death by unknown persons in Abdyn town in Daraa countryside.
