FSA factions have repelled an incursion attempt by Assad militias in Lattakia countryside causing losses to the latter.
Orient correspondent said that the opposition factions thwarted on Wednesday (Sep. 5) regime’s incursion attempt near al-Haddada hill in al-Akrad Mountain in Latakia countryside.
FSA factions killed and injured dozens of Assad militiamen during clashes, Orient correspondent added.
After the clashes, opposition factions targeted Assad militia positions with heavy artillery shells, increasing losses among Assad militiamen.
Assad militias based in al-Turkmen Mountain and the Kurd Mountain in Lattakia countryside continue to target opposition controlled areas with heavy artillery and rocket fire.
