Assad militias expel Darayya returnees after filming their return
The Assad militias expelled the returnees of Darayya in Damascus western countryside after they allowed them to enter the destroyed city to inspect their Assad-destroyed houses and properties, Syrian activists said.

Locals were allowed to enter Darayya at 10 am on Tuesday (August 28) then they were forced to leave at 5 after they chanted pro-Assad slogans and raised Assad placards.

The step came after the Assad regime claimed that thousands of families returned to their homes in Darayya after the regime provided all life conditions and all public services in the town.

Syrians nicknamed Darayya, "The Capital of Barrel Bombs," in a reference to the incalculable Assad barrel bombs dropped there. People of Darayya were displaced from their town in 2016 to the north of Syria.
