Free Syrian Army (FSA) factions attacked Assad militia positions in Aleppo western countryside, killing and injuring a number of Assad militiamen.
The National Front For Liberation said on Friday (August 4) that it attacked by artillery shells Assad militia positions in the scientific research center in Aleppo western countryside.
The artillery shelling killed at least five Assad militiamen and injured others, the statement added.
The statement said that the shelling came in response to targeting civilians in Aleppo western countryside.
Earlier this week, five Free Syrian Army groups merged into one alliance called the National Front For Liberation.
