Russia kills more civilians in eastern Ghouta

Russian aircraft, backing Assad regime in assault against eastern Ghouta, carried on today (March 22) tens of airstrikes against Douma, Zamalka and Arbin, killing and wounding dozens of civilians.
Orient News correspondent said 17 people were killed, according to initial reports, and 90 others were wounded in Zamalka city as several Russian airstrikes targeted populated areas in city.

Airstrikes and missiles loaded with white phosphorous targeted other areas, killing 3 in Arbin and a media activist in Douma, our correspondent reported.

Syria Civil Defense said that Hazza was also targeted with inflammable napalm, reporting no casualties.
Assad regime, backed by Russian fighter jets, launched assault against eastern Ghouta last month. It has killed more than 1,700 people as air strikes pound residential areas where thousands had sheltered in basements across the densely populated enclave.
