Assad regime forces have shelled the city of Douma in Damascus eastern countryside with tens of rockets, killing and injuring civilians.
At least 2 women were killed and many others were injured after the regime militia shelled the besieged city on Saturday (February 17) with rockets, Orient News Correspondent Mohammad Abdulrahman said.
"The regime’s attacks leveled a building to the ground beyond repair; the building of Orient News live producer set on fire."
White Helmets rescuers published footage online of what they said the aftermath of the deadly rocket attacks which targeted Douma.
Erbin, Harasta, Hamoriyya and Douma are among the most Assad-attacked Syrian cities in Eastern Ghouta.
People in Eastern Ghouta have made urgent plea to humanitarian organisations to save civilians from Assad regime’s indiscriminate attacks.
The United Nations said about 400,000 civilians besieged in the Eastern Ghouta area face "complete catastrophe" because aid deliveries are blocked by the regime and hundreds of people who need urgent medical evacuation have not been allowed outside the enclave.
