Rebels recapture villages in Idlib and Hama, capture regime members
Rebel factions have taken control of a line of villages in southern Idlib countryside and northern Hama countryside, detaining dozens regime members and seizing weapons and ammunition.

The anti-regime groups launched a new battle, Thursday, to regain control of towns and villages in the area and block the way to prevent Assad forces advance towards the Abo al-Duhur airbase.

The battle’s operation room realized progress a few hours after the battle began, and took the Al-Zarzour, al-khwin, Atshan, Tal Maraq, and Um al-Khalakhil villages, in addition to the Al-Hlel and Al-Naddaf checkpoints.

Orient News correspondent clarified that among the sized weapons and ammunitions are 2 tanks, a 23-mm gun, a fagot launching base, and 3 BMP vehicles.

Rebels published a video showing several detained regime militia members in Al-Khwin city. 

Regime forces and militias launched, two months ago, an incursion in Hama and Idlib to reach the strategic Abo Duhur airbase, and they advanced to the outskirts of the airbase backed up by heavy Russian airstrikes.
