Aerial bombardment victimizes dozens of civilians in Idlib
Tens of civilians were either killed or injured Thursday from aerial bombardment conducted by regime and Russia against towns and villages of south Idlib countryside and north Hama countryside.

Orient News’ correspondent confirmed that Russian and regime’s aircrafts launched heavy aerial assault against residents of the rebel-held south Idlib countryside, where 3 children were killed with their mother from dropped barrel bombs on Al-Mshirfa village. In addition, two women were killed, and others were injured from similar shelling on Al-Sarman village. 

Regime’s airstrikes killed 3 civilians and injured others in Skekat village, while 2 ciivlians were killed and others were injured from aerial shelling on Al-Tamniaa town and Al-Said Ali farm, according to our correspondent, who reported that several civilians got injured from regime’s barrel bombs dropped over an IDPs’ shelter-school in Babolin village.

Orient News’ correspondent confirmed that squadrons of aircrafts and helicopters are alternatively targeting south Idlib countryside, and shelling has targeted several villages, including Dar al-Salam, Sahian, and Al-Hamdaniyah villages, so far.

Death toll is likely to increase where many civilians have critical injuries, according to the Syrian Civil Defense in the area, who rushed to pull the victims from under the rubble.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday at a meeting with leader of Syria’s Tomorrow opposition movement Ahmad Jarba, "Of course, the main anti-terrorist task now is to defeat Nusra Front as well," confirming " "They are still resisting, including via receiving external help, according to our information", in an attempt to weaken rebel-factions after they refused to attend the Sochi conference.
