Syrian rebels down a regime’s aircraft in East Hama: Video
Activists in Hama countryside published a video on Tuesday of shooting down an Assad regime’s L-39 aircraft in East Hama countryside.

Rebel factions shot down the aircraft using a heat-seeking missile, and the pilot was killed, according to the video.

In parallel, Nasr Army’s media official, Captain Abo Aqeel, told Orient Net, "aircrafts and helicopters were heavily hovering and targeting clashing areas in Um Harten and Al-Msherfeh, and other rebel-held areas."

He confirmed that the aircraft was flying low over Al-Hamdaniyah village in preparation for shelling when it was targeted by rebels, who were also thwarting incursion attempts by regime forces and militias, and fell between Um Maraq and Um Harten in East Hama countryside.

Relatively, Assad regime’s media mourned the death of pilot, Bassem Ghusn, from Homs countryside, confirming that he was killed after his aircraft was shot down in Hama countryside.

Russian and Assad regime have been targeting towns and cities of northern Hama countryside and southern Idleb countryside with intensified shelling assault, while rebel factions were thwarting the ongoing incursion attempts by regime forces and their supporting Shiite militias.
