Tahrir Al-Sham foils regime’s attack in Idlib countryside

Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham’s (HTS) Ibaa agency published photos of Assad militia members killed during the Wednesday battles in the Al-Msherfah village in Idleb countryside.

Orient Net correspondent, Jamil al-Hasan, said that HTS fighters thwarted an attack by regime forces and their supporting militias trying to advance on the Al-Msherfah and Tal Al-Maqtaa battlefronts on east Idlib countryside.

An entire group of regime forces were killed, including a high-ranking officer, commander of this incursion, while another officer was detained, who is the commander of all incursions in the area.

Assad regime tried to advance on two battlefronts, Tal Khanzir and Um Trekiyah, according to our correspondent.

Confrontations between rebel-factions on the one hand, and Assad regime and ISIS on the other, started two months ago, during which Russian aircrafts provided air covering and shelling of rebel-held areas using internationally-banned weapons.
