The Ahrar Al-Sham Movement announced that 19 Assad forces’ members were killed during an incursion attempt in Harasta city.
Fierce clashes broke out between the two parties as regime forces tried to advance towards the locations newly taken by Ahrar Al-Sham, which led to death of several regime forces’ members and destruction of a "T72" tank, as clarified in a statement published by Tahrir Al-sham on Thursday.
The statement said that regime’s forces and aircrafts have targeted Harasta city with 213 airstrikes, using toxic gases, cluster missiles and artillery shelling since the beginning of the battle launched by Ahrar Al-sham on November 14, 2017.
The battle called "Bi Annahum Zulimu" was launched by the movement to gain control of the entire strategic vehicle management area in eastern Ghouta.
