Palmyra: From ISIS’ terrorism to Assad regime’s
The Assad terrorists said they took control of the ancient city of Palmyra from ISIS on Thursday (March 2) with help from allied mercenaries and Russian airstrikes.

A war monitor said the Assad army and allied militias advanced inside Palmyra after ISIS pulled most of its terrorists back from positions inside the city.

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu told his Vladimir Putin on Thursday that Palmyra has been fully recaptured, the RIA news agency reported, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Assad terrorists on one side and ISIS terrorists on the other have changed roles in taking control of the ancient city. The control of Palmyra takes in a very smooth way without any kind of resistance showed by each of the two sides," Mohammad al-Hammada, a Syrian military expert, told Orient Net.
