Euphrates Shield forces clash with Assad terrorists near al-Bab

Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters, fighting under Euphrates Shield umbrella, announced Sunday that they clashed with Assad terrorists and allied militias, south of al-Bab city north of Syria.
This was the first time the Euphrates Shield FSA groups clash with Assad terrorists and their allied militias, pointing out that the latter suffered grave losses, field sources told Orient Net.
The clashes took place near the town of Tadef which became under Assad terrorists’ control after ISIS terrorists had withdrawn.
Euphrates Shield forces had also engaged with Assad terrorists in Abu al-Zindein town some twenty days ago. The engagement was the first ever since the launch of Euphrates Shield operation last August.
FSA succeeded in driving ISIS out of al-Bab, the group’s largest stronghold in Aleppo eastern countryside, thus achieving one of the most important objectives of Operation Euphrates Shield.
