FSA controls Bza’a, Ra’i roundabout near ISIS-held al-Bab
Turkey-backed fighters of the Free Syria Army (FSA) made Sunday night new advances in the ISIS-held al-Bab, northeast of Aleppo, amid demoralization in the ranks of ISIS, as the latter became encircled inside the city.

FSA fighters regained control over Bza’a town, east of al-Bab, and al-Ra’i roundabout to the north of the city, according to activists. The fighting continued inside the “Security Square”, while ISIS terrorists became encircled.

Earlier on Sunday, opposition fighters controlled strategic areas near the northern gate of the al-Bab, including al-Shehabi farm, after fierce clashes with ISIS. 14 of the extremists were killed in the offensive. Al-Shehabi farm is strategically important as it overlooks the northern gate of the city on the way that links al-Bab to al-Ra’i.

Before the start of  the offensive to liberate al-Bab, opposition fighters brought new military reinforcements to the surroundings of al-Bab aiming to cleanse the city from ISIS.
