Al-Bab: FSA seizes new territory from ISIS

Fighters of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) captured on Saturday new positions in the ISIS-held city of al-Bab, amid demoralization in the ranks of ISIS terrorists.

Hawar Kilis Operations Room said that opposition fighters were able to seize the Sports Club, Baath Party Building, the Silos area, and Zemzem Street in al-Bab city after ferocious clashes with ISIS terrorists, which left many terrorists killed.

Turkey-backed FSA fighters controlled in the past two days Mount Aqeel, the National Hospital, the Western Roundabout, and the Youth Residents, west of al-Bab, after hours-long fighting with ISIS.

Meanwhile, convoys of ISIS terrorists were seen withdrawing from al-Bab as Euphrates Shield fighters approached the city, according to field sources.

The developments come several hours after a field commander from the FSA had confirmed to Orient Net the FSA fighters brought new reinforcements to the surroundings of al-Bab, aiming to cleanse the city from the remnants of ISIS.
