Opposition fighters took control Thursday of the strategic hill of Rasho in Latakia northern countryside after heavy clashes with Assad terrorists and the allied sectarian Iranian militiamen.
“27 Assad and Iranian terrorists were killed by opposition following the intense fighting that took place on the top of Rasho hill in the Akrad mountain in Latakia northern countryside,” Orient News correspondent said.
After taking control of the strategic hill and seizing large amounts of ammunition and a number of machine guns, we withdrew from its top to our locations. This operation, came withing our policy of sudden swift attacks against Assad terrorists and also came to honor the blood of our fellow fighters killed by the regime and its allied mercenaries,” according to the First Coastal Brigade’s media office.
