Lebanon’s army raids Syrian refugee camps in Kafardan
Lebanon’s army stormed Thursday morning into Syrian refugee camps in Kafardan village in al-Bekaa valley arresting a number refugees and confiscating properties.

The state-owned National News Agency (NNA) said the Lebanese army had raided Syrian refugee camps in Kafardan, confiscated ‘illegal’ motorcycles and vans, and detained a number of Syrian refugees.

The Lebanese Army had been conducting recurrent raids on Syrian refugee camps near the Syrian-Lebanese border and other areas in Lebanon known to host Syrian refugees. Hundreds of Syrian refugees has been arrested for "entering the country illegally" or for "affiliation with terrorist organizations".
