Hezbollah, Assad terrorists renew attacks on Wadi Barada
Hezbollah and Assad terrorists continue their bombardment campaign on Wadi Barada valley’s towns and villages in Damascus western countryside, trying to advance from many sides.

Shelling on Ein al-Fijeh town in Wadi Barada on Wednesday led to the death of one civilian, Muhamamd Mohra, and the injury of five others, according to the Media Committee of Wadi Barada.

Hezbollah and Assad terrorists in addition to Qalamoun Shield pro-Assad militia escalated their attacks on the town, the committee added.

The town was targeted with heavy artillery, mortar and tank shells in addition to surface-to-surface FIL missiles, explosive-laden cylinders, heavy machine gun fire and thermal scope equipped snipers.

The shelling coincided with attempts to storm Ein al-Fijeh from multiple sides. Clashes took place between opposition fighters on the one side and Assad terrorists and the backing terrorists on the other. Opposition was able to destroy three Assad Shilka vehicles and a tank and killed a number of terrorists.

The Wadi Barada valley, located 18 kilometers northwest of Damascus, has been under heavy bombing and artillery shelling by Hezbollah and Assad terrorists for the past 36 days. The attacks killed many civilians and caused widespread damage to property, including the vital Ein al-Fijeh spring facility which provides over four million people in Damascus and its countryside with water.

In addition to the horrors of living under bombardment, people in the valley have to endure life without water, electricity or any means of communication including landlines, cell phones and the internet. The villages also face acute shortage of food, medicine and fuel due to the long siege.
