Hezbollah suffers losses in Wadi Barada’s Ein al-Fijeh
Opposition fighters were able Sunday night to repel Iran-backed and Assad terrorists’ storming attempts on Ein al-Fijeh town of Wadi Barada in Damascus western countryside.

An Assad tank was destroyed by opposition fighters Sunday night, while six Hezbollah and Assad terrorists were killed during clashes on Ein al-Fijeh front, activists said. Assad warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the surrounding of the town’s water spring.

Wadi Barada News Network negated what Assad regime-pro media outlets have promoted that Assad terrorists have reached Ein al-Fijeh’s mosque. The network confirmed that the photos published by the pro-Assad media belong to a mosque in Ein al-Khadra town, which was controlled by Hezbollah terrorists last week.

Meanwhile, more than 100, 000 civilians continue to suffer dire living conditions in Wadi Barada. In addition to the bombing, people in the valley have to endure life without water, electricity or any means of communication including landlines, cell phones and the Internet. The villages also face acute shortages of food, medicine and fuel due to the long siege.

Hezbollah and Assad terrorists prevent civilian’s movement to and fro Wadi Barada, despite many critical medical cases which need to be evacuated. A team from the Syrian Red Crescent came to evacuate some critical cases through Ra’s al-Amoud checkpoint, but Hezbollah and Assad terrorists refused to allow the critically-injured out, a source from Wadi Barada told Orient News on condition of anonymity.

The Wadi Barada valley, located 18 kilometers northwest of Damascus, has been under heavy bombing and artillery shelling by Hezbollah and Assad terrorists for the past 33 days.
