Hezbollah terrorists detain women, children in Wadi Barada
A number of women and children were detained by Hezbollah terrorists Wednesday at a checkpoint near Wadi Barada valley as indiscriminate bombardment continues on multiple towns and villages of Damascus western countryside.

Local sources told Orient News that Hezbollah terrorists detained a number of women and children, who were forcibly displaced from their homes in al-Shabak area near Boukein town, at "Julia" checkpoint.

The detained women and children were left stranded near the checkpoint, while Hezbollah terrorists threatened to use them as human shields.

The detention comes only few hours after Hezbollah terrorists forcibly displaced the population of the area located northwest of Boukein town. About 50 families were forced to leave their homes. Part of the displaced families headed towards Boukein town while others moved to reach al-Ma’mourah area, according to our correspondent.

The Wadi Barada valley, located 18 kilometers northwest of Damascus, has been under heavy bombing and artillery shelling by Hezbollah and Assad terrorists for the past 28 days. The attacks killed many civilians and caused widespread damage to property, including the vital Ein al-Fijeh spring facility which provides over four million people in Damascus and its countryside with water.

In the interim, Hezbollah and Assad terrorists’ artillery and rocket bombardment continued on the towns of Madaya and Boukein in Damascus western countryside raising the number of injuries to six, four young men and two children.
